Montgomery Highlands Parcel, Road Cost Allocation and Drainage System Information

• The upper left shows buttons for Zooming (+/-), Help (?), Legend (L), Drainage map toggle (D), Parcel map toggle (P) and Road Cost Allocation map toggle (R). There is also a Topo map toggle (T) that may be helpful when viewing the Drainage map.
• The bottom left shows the current zoom level (1-16) and the current map Scale (in meters and feet).
• The upper left shows information about the feature you are currently highlighting.

• The (+/-) buttons zoom by 4; the mouse scroll wheel zooms by 1.
• Shift Drag the left mouse button to zoom to the area highlighted.
• Drag the left mouse button or use arrows or shift-arrows to pan the image
• Clicking on a feature shows information dependent on the feature:
  • Drainage: highlights all the ditches, catch basins and culverts flowing to the same ravine.
  • Parcels: highlights the road sections the parcel is responsible for.
  • Road Sections: highlights the parcels that are responsible for the road section.
• Double Click on a Drainage feature to show images of the feature.
• When Drainage Features are visible a spyglass appears above the information area at the top left.
  • Click on it and enter a feature to search by first letter or first number.
  • e.g., to search for culvets start with a C. To search for everything related to Ravine 1 start with a 1.

• There is a different color for each of the 19 road sections in our neighborhood

• Drainage Features
• Feature ID and number
• Feature ID Format is Fna.m where
• F is feature type - R for Ravine, D for Ditch, C for Culvert and B for Catch Basin.
• n is ravine #
• a is A-Z for section of Ravine from top to bottom
• m is the # of the ravine that a culvert/ditch/catch basin FEEDS
• e.g., R3B is the 2nd section (B) of Ravine 3 and C3B.2 is the 2nd (.2) culvert that FEEDS that 2nd section (B) of ravine 3.
• The ID is followed by the feature type: Ravine, Ditch, Culvert or Catch Basin
• More detail is included depending on type. For example, for a culvert it includes the diameter in inches. the length in feet; the material or materials it is made of, how many feet it drops and to what material (Dirt/rock/concrete...)
• When you click on a drainage feature all the sections that feed its ravine are highlighted.
• When you double-click on a drainage feature images of that feature are displayed. Click anywhere to go back to the map.


• Parcel Features
• APN: Assessor Parcel Number
• Property Address
• property size in acres
• Member/Non-Member (of the association)
• Property Type: Household, Land, Other (e.g., SJWC pump house)
• Additional information (e.g., approximate location when no address)
• When you click on a parcel the road sections that the parcel is responsible for are highlighted.

• When you click on a road section the parcels that are responsible for it are highlighted.
